My family

Claudia e silvia 1966When I was born in 1966 my family was composed of my mum, Ersilia, my dad, Giuliano and my sister Silvia. Silvia was 10 at the time.. Here we are in 1966

Things have changed since then. My dad died in 1988. Silvia got married in 1986 and moved to California with her English husband, Roger. They now have three children: Julia, born in July 1989, and two twins, Emma and Richard, born in May 1993. My mum still lives in the same house in Como.

The interests in my family have always been very varied. My dad worked as a designer and was a very good amateur photographer. My mother used to work as a designer, too and is now an art-collector; she also makes beautiful pictures with pressed flowers. My sister, the genius of the family, has a degree in Pharmacology but used to work as a science-librarian at Milan University; she taught at San José University for quite a few years and now works for Roche. She also likes music, art and literature and is very good at cross-stitching... much better than me...

Coming from such background it was obvious that I should also develop many interests; my family influenced me not so much for contents but for passion and opportunity. Our houses are full of books and pictures, and mine of CDs and records, of course! My mother often goes to art exhibitions like I go to concerts. No time to get bored!

As for my love-life... well... let's say it's not boring...
